My name is Patrick Yurick. I was born in New Hampshire and currently am residing here in Farmington. I have been passionate about the arts since I can remember. My mother, Deborah Yurick, is an art teacher in the Governor Wentworth School District and my father, J. Steve Yurick, is a landscape architect. My mother and my father have continually been supportive in my exploration of art and have been largely responsible for the accomplishments I have been able to make.
My Grandfather, Dr. Robert E. Lord, was also largely responsible for getting me where I am today. Growing up with my mother as a teacher and my grandfather as a small town doctor has given me an enormous sense of altruism and communication. I have found myself drawn towards helping people, which is why I am currently studying to become an art teacher at Plymouth State University.
My goals are simple to state, and are continually challenging to accomplish. I want to spread art into the world. I wish to continually learn, and forever stay a student of life. Because I believe that art and life are one and the same, it is also true that I wish to stay a student of art. Life, art and learning are all things I wish to never stop practicing. |
